The Journal of Sustainable Basic Education (JSBE) (ISSN 3155-685X) was established in 2026 as a peer-reviewed scholarly platform dedicated to advancing research, action research, innovation studies, policy analyses, and evidence-based practices relevant to basic education.

Since its establishment, JSBE has sought to promote rigorous, ethical, inclusive, and practice-responsive scholarship that contributes to quality, resilient, technology-enhanced, future-ready, and sustainable learning. The journal provides a venue for educators, researchers, school leaders, graduate students, policymakers, and other education stakeholders to contribute to the continuing development of basic education through research and scholarly dialogue.
